Experimental Painting Camp

I designed a weeklong art camp called “Experimental Painting” that I teach at Oklahoma Contemporary for kids ages 7-9. In this camp, we get to explore all the ways to break the “rules” of traditional painting! We created salt and wax resist watercolors, chalk dust paintings, wax coffee filter paintings, texture rubbings, drip paintings and more. I love teaching kids and adults alike how to stretch their creative muscles and really dive in to painting for painting’s sake.
