I grew up in a place where everyone watched the sky, where we celebrate each change of the season, where nature and slow transformation is a daily part of life. In this place, I learned that creating art was a way for me to envision our spaces and our lives with even more magic, fluidity, and depth.
In my practice, I bring the ephemeral into real life.
The way light moves, the way a color feels in our body, the way our emotions and memories and sensations flow through us and connect us. I capture this energy in my artwork, that then goes on to live on buildings, in homes, on bodies, and in many spaces.
